The Cherie de Villiers Fine Art Gallery are dealers in sculptures and paintings by South African artists. Cherie de Villiers Art Gallery was established in 1993, in Rosebank, Johannesburg. Their online facility allows clients to view limited selections of art that are available, from the comfort of their own home. The website not only shows you the art, but provides information about the background of each of the featured artists.

The exhibitions at the Cherie de Villiers Art Gallery change regularly, showcasing various artists, such as oil paintings of Joe Maseko and Karen Fortune, with her art that focuses on the exploration of light.

Karen Fortune is both a craftsperson and an artist. Her fascination with light expressions drives her to create two and three dimensional art. She has been painting since her school days, and spent four years abroad to widen her spectrum. Her art is regularly displayed at the Cherie de Villiers Fine Art Gallery.

Another popular artist that exhibits in the Cherie de Villiers Gallery is Tommy Motswai. Born in Soweto, South Africa, in May 1963, Tommy attended Kutlwanong School for the Deaf between 1968 and 1979. And by 1985, Tommy Motswai was awarded the Santam Bursary for Fine Arts. He has won five awards for his art and therefore it comes as no surprise that this talented South African artist has not only exhibited in the Cherie de Villiers Gallery, but in many prestigious galleries across South Africa, and even abroad.

Dumisan Sibisi had alsofeatured at the Cherie de Villiers Gallery include. With imagniative colour use and lifelike images, this artist's works stand as testament to the talent that South Africa has produced.

Landscapes are also available in the form of art done by Andrew Copper. The detail and peaceful atmosphere his work evokes, carries the art enthusiast on a visual tour of our spectacular country.
