Port Elizabeth Art Galleries - Treasuring Art and Culture

Within the walls of the Epsac Art Gallery, King George VI Art Gallery, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum and the Ron Belling Art Gallery; beauty, inspiration and freedom await.

The Epsac Art Gallery has a diverse range of art work to marvel at, while the King George VI Art Gallery is home to historical masterpieces that were created in the Eastern Cape and also includes a Gerard Sekoto collection. The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum has a permanent collection of art, but does host temporary exhibitions as well. Here visitors will find Chinese textiles, oriental art, local art, British art and a variety of other artistic wonders. The Ron Belling Art Gallery was created as a tribute to Ron Belling, and his magnificent aviation masterpieces can be viewed here.
