The African Iron Horse Rodeo to be held at the Pretoria Show Grounds in South Africa from 12 to 14 October 2007 promises to be a memory-making event with a program that is aimed at bikers, offering a large variety of exhibits for motorcycle fans. This is not just a bikers rally though, because the program promises to have something for every member of the family to enjoy. A large percentage of the profits from the event will be going to charities that receive ongoing support from African Iron Horse Rodeo through Steelwings.

This performance is part of their “Black, Blue and You” tour that will take them to thirteen countries, with South Africa ninth on the list.

Amid the hustle and bustle of city life in Gauteng, South Africa’s most populous province, animal lovers will be heading for the Coca-Cola Dome in Northgate, Randburg from 30 November to 2 December 2007 for Equestria 2007. As the name suggests, the main focus of this event is on all things horse-related. The patron of Equestria, world-famous South African golfer Gary Player, himself a keen rider, sees this annual event as an ideal platform for showcasing local talent, as well as providing riders with the experience needed to compete at an international level.

The wine estate is involved in charity events, book clubs, conservation efforts and hosting golf challenges. Together with Chandelier Game Lodge and Ostrich Farm, Ton’s Sport and Cycle, Beveras’ and Dryland, they will be hosting the annual Leopard’s Leap Chandelier Mountain Bike Challenge in Oudtshoorn.

This well-attended festival takes place in the beautiful Breedekloof wine region, which is one of the largest Western Cape wine producing valleys, encompassing the Goudini, Slanghoek, Breede River Valley and Rawsonville areas, less than an hours drive from Cape Town. The 2007 Bredekloof Outdoor Festival will be taking place from 12th to 14th October 2007.
