and treat yourself and loved ones to one of the most spectacular firework displays you will ever see.
The Symphony of Fire is the largest event of this nature on the African continent and is the first in a
series of displays where fireworks display companies will battle it out to see who is regarded as the better
of the lot. The three teams from South Africa, Spain and Canada will each put on an amazing display of fireworks
which will be choreographed to music and last approximately 25 minutes.

A woman in Cape Town became not only the first disabled person but also the first woman to complete
the tiring 15km swim between Bloubergstrand and Robben Island on the 8th of March 2006. The incredible
distance in the icy Carletonian waters has often proved to be too huge a challenge for many able-bodied
swimmers so the feat is quite a notable accomplishment.
