Port Elizabeth - Plentiful Attractions in a Vibrant Coastal City
Set on the beautiful beaches of Algoa Bay, Port Elizabeth has an abundance of warm water beaches, an estuary, rivers and kloofs. There are endless opportunities for surfing, angling, yachting, power-boating, boardsailing and scuba diving.
On the wild side, Port Elizabeth offers malaria-free game reserves where you can view lions, elephants, black and white rhinos, buffalos, leopards, hippos, bucks and 300 species of birds to start with. The Addo Elephant Park, a short drive away, is home to the largest family group of elephants so close to a city world-wide.
The city offers live shows at the stately Opera House and Feather Market Hall, nightclubs, beachside pubs, cafés, restaurants, flea-markets, museums and art-galleries. The city center, with its impressive architecture, monuments and statues, is steeped in Settler history. Also not to be missed is the popular Bayworld complex, featuring an oceanarium, snake park and museum. Indeed, Port Elizabeth has much to offer visitors of all age groups.

I must say very disappointed. Was there in Dec what a mistake. when we pay we ask for the dolphine show yes said the guy and pay for 6 people. so we went in. the underground stuff the water so dirty and the shark tenk you can only see when they are near so we went out the pool so dirty and green we were there in march and there was clear water and dolphins. so when the show began no dolphins they didn't say anything. when we asked o they are in hongkong and may take years to return. and the guy were we paid did not even say there are no more dolphins. really very disappointing. Go and have a look at durban's and cape town aquariums really no notice nothing that say no dolphins. very disappointing.
