Services offered by the Belgian Embassy in South Africa include registration of Belgians, issuing of identity cards to Belgians in foreign countries, issuing of Belgian passports, providing travelers to Belgium with the necessary visa, citizenship, legalization, sorting out Belgian pensions, child abduction assistance, assistance in the event of death in a foreign country and so forth.
