Description:

This charming farm cottage is situated in the very picturesque Helpmekaar / Elandskraal district, six km off the main road R33, between Dundee and Greytown (50km and 80km respectively from Dundee and Greytown), on a wattle-tree farm, hence the name “Hole in the Wattle”. The cottage sleeps six and is fully self-catering, however we do provide meals on request. A further attraction would be our butchery which offers beef and pork. The area offers various activities and excursions such as white water rafting on the Buffalo River and bird watching as well as game viewing and walking trails. Horse rides can be arranged. The famous Rorke’s Drift and Isandlwana Battle sites as well as the Bloodriver Monument are also in close proximity. We’re still reasonably new to the hospitality / accommodation scene but assure you of a very comfortable and pleasant stay
