Description:

Less than 4 hours’ drive from Johannesburg, 5km from Graskop, 10km from Pilgrim’s Rest and 24km from Sabie, it is within easy travelling distance of Nelspruit and the Kruger International Airport, the Kruger National Park, Mozambique and Swaziland.

Being in close proximity of many well known scenic and historic attractions of the area, this tranquil setting is ideal for a relaxing and refreshing break-away from a busy schedule.

The chalet sleeps 2 on a double/queen-size bed and it has 2 single mattresses available on a small loft floor (ideal and great fun for the kids).

The kitchenette is fully equipped with basic cooking facilities, crockery, cutlery, a mini-fridge, a 2-plate stove and a microwave oven. A grid is also available for a "braai" / barbeque outside.
Linen, pillows, blankets and towels are also provided.

Sitting on the veranda or from the lawn outside one can watch breathtaking sunrises over the escarpment (looking towards God’s Window) or enjoy a crackling fire and evening barbeque while the sun sets behind the western mountain ridge.

For the energetic, a hike up the mountain (from where you can see "forever") could be just the thing required to relieve some stress and tension. The area also hosts an abundance of outdoor activities like horse-riding, mountain bike, quad-bike and 4x4 trails, hiking, fishing, bird watching and golf. The myriad of winding roads and breathtaking scenery makes it a motor-cyclist's paradise!

Occupation of the facility is from 14:00 on the day of arrival and vacation is required by 10:00 on the day of departure.

Guests are generally responsible for cleaning and tidying of the chalet during their stay, but daily cleaning can be arranged at a minor additional cost.

To get there:
Follow your favourite route to either Pilgrim’s Rest, Graskop or Sabie. From the road inter-section at “The Bonnet” between the 3 towns, the entrance is situated approximately 150m on the left, on the road (R533) towards Graskop.

Facilities:

  • Fully Fitted Kitchen
  • Outside Braai Area

Rates:

R285.00 for the unit (chalet) per night.
