Art - Western Cape - Cape Town

When:
TBA, Saturday, 05 July 2008

Where:
Workshop 17, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, Western Cape

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition showcases nature at its best. Of course much skill, originality, knowledge of nature, vision and good old chance is needed to capture the perfect picture that all aspiring, as well as professional, photographers hope for.

Description:

This really is an unique and enchanting experience. Viewing nature from the eye of the photographer helps to bring importance to our natural heritage, that is fast disappearing, before our eyes.

The exhibition is sponsored by the acclaimed Animal Planet, and it is here that you will get the chance to view award winning photographs that have been selected at the prestigious competition hosted by the ‘Natural History Museum of London’ and the BBC Wildlife Magazine.

Entrance to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition will be R30.00 for adults and R20.00 for pensioners, students and children under 18. Children under 5 can enter for free. The event will take place between 5 and 29 July 2008.
