This is an invitation to all Accounting teachers to attend a day at Hilton College on Wednesday, 22 October 2014 to find out about Colour Accounting, a graphical system that makes understanding accounting easy and quick. Colour Accounting shows visually how accounting works, and teaching Accounting using Colour Accounting also involves a better understanding of the language involved in defining and understanding concepts.
Benefits of the workshop: 1) You will personally work with the material and see how you can use it in your classrooms. 2) Peter Frampton, the founder of Colour Accounting International will be flying in from Switzerland to explain how Colour Accounting was developed and how schools can get access to use their material. 3) Anne Kriel-Brown and Teresa Whitfield, both teachers at Hilton College, will be sharing their experiences with using Colour Accounting in their teaching this year and they will explain how it has dramatically changed their students' enjoyment and understanding of the subject. The number of students choosing to study Accounting at Hilton College in grade 10 next year has increased by 38% from last year; largely as a result of them using Colour Accounting.
