This amazing event has been going since 1974, when it began with a meagre display of just 60 events. Today that number has increased drastically, with over 600 varied events occurring over the 11 days.

The Grahamstown National Arts Festival will run from 25 June to 5 July 2008. A wide variety of events will be held at venues throughout the town.

Purchase all Festival event tickets through the telephonic or postal booking service made available through Grahamstowns Box Office, or you can purchase directly from any Computicket countrywide.

If you wish to make online Bookings, you can do this through Computicket's website at www.computicket.com and should there be tickets available for any events, they can be bought at the actual performance venues 30 minutes before starting times. It is, however, better to decided and book ahead of time if there are specific performances you wish to see.
