I’m sure most of us will agree that 2008 is speedily making its way to the end of the year at record pace! With this in mind we hope that the arrival of 2009 will be one that will be filled with unbelievably good memories that can be used to boost 2009 into an unforgettable year.
Description:
This can certainly be said when one thinks of the Bethesda Arts Centre and those who make it what it is. It’s through their enduring spirit that the ‘New Year’s Eve Lantern Parade’ is brought about, rousing that everlasting hope for peace and happiness that so many crave today.
For just a day, a variety of cultures and religions come together, setting aside their differences to celebrate the end of a certainly eventful year. It’s the hope that this unity will carry through, making South Africa a place where all can live together in harmony.
