The Citrus Carnival really is a wonderful event that takes place annually at the Sundays River Primary School. It begins on the night of the 15th of August 2008.
Description:
The Citrus Carnival begins the night before the main carnival event with a joyous evening of steak and dancing to the brilliant sounds of Chris Brits Orchestra.
On the day of the actual event schools from Uitenhage, Port Elizabeth and Kirkwood will compete against each other in rugby and netball, while a traditional school fete, craft exhibitions and food and beer tents entertain families and visitors to the Carnival alike.
Of course I must not forget to mention that a representative of ‘Little Miss Orange Blossom’ will be chosen from girls between the ages of four to thirteen during the morning’s activities.
