Innibos Arts Festival is still a young event as events go and will be celebrating its fifth year. Though young, it has increased in popularity, with visitors increasing from 25 000 in 2004 to just under 90 000 in 2007. Event organisers of Innibos Art Festival are certain that the number will increase again with an expected 100 000 or more visitors during the four day event in 2008.

Description:

InniBos certainly is a festival filled with every form of entertainment imaginable! From art exhibitions to a varied display of theatre productions, cabaret, classical and rock music being performed at a variety of venues in the area. Of course one of the main pulls to such an event is the variety of high impact concerts.

This year visitors will be privileged to experience the legendary 1970s band ‘Boney M’, who will be performing some of their well known songs, such as Mary’s Boy Child, Going Back West, Daddy Cool and Rivers of Babylon.

You will also be able to see some of our local celebrities performing along side ‘Boney M’ on the Standard Bank stage, including Steve Hofmeyr, Patricia Lewis and Eden.

InniBos Arts Festival will run from 25 to 29 June 2008. If you would like more information please feel free to contact InniBos on (013) 741 5294 or (013) 741 5295. Tickets are available at any Computicket countrywide from the 24th of May 2008 or at the actual festival gates.
