Like so many of the festivals that occur in South Africa, a strong family atmosphere is always present and is very much the case of the Breedekloof Outdoor Festival in the Western Cape.
Description:
There is certainly nothing more spectacular then being able to spend time with close friends and family sipping on award winning wines, as well as enjoying a variety of outdoor activities!
Some of the events you can expect to see and participate in are such things as clay-pigeon shooting, paintball, quad biking, live music and a fantastic range of sumptuous food ranging from delicious oysters to scrumptious meat done on a spit braai.
For the young ones there is face painting, pony rides and farm animal petting. For the for the more adventurous at heart there are helicopter flips, the gruelling Breedekloof Outdoor Challenge, a fun Mountain Bike ride sponsored by the wonderful Slanghoek Cellar, as well as the famous Deetlefs Night run through the beautiful Deetlefs Estate vineyards, certainly a memorable event!
So come bring your family along and enjoy nature, outdoor activities and a good glass of wine, you won’t be disappointed! The Breedekloof Outdoor Festival takes place from 10 to 12 October 2008.
