‘Fees van die Ganse’, or the ‘Festival of the Geese’, which takes place in Gansbaai, is a wonderful festival in commemoration of the stunning Gansbaai, as well as the wild geese that inhabited a nearby spring located in the Gansbaai Harbour.
Description:
There really is so much that one can do at the Fees van die Ganse, it really is a festival for the whole family, young and old. The festival has grown at an amazing pace, with over 10 000 visitors expected to be making their way here over the three days!
If you’re a lover of fynbos or botany, then you will love the featured fynbos wildflower show which showcases an amazing variety. Of course this is not all, with plenty of exhibitions, live music, walks, 4x4 adventure drives up the Franskraal mountain, golf or if your feeling a little more adventurous, a fantastic helicopter ride over the magnificent Walker Bay.
