Description:
The Pink Loerie Mardi Gras is a celebration of being gay in all its forms and has become famous as time has gone by. Although started in Knysna this certainly has become a universal sensation and certainly a must for any gay calendar!
Although this specifically focuses on gay people it certainly is open to all walks of life, providing thrilling entertainment all done in pink!
There is of course a more serious side to this otherwise outrageous festival. The aim of this event is also to bring awareness to the public by educating them on the issues gay people deal with, as well as bringing to the fore HIV/Aids that affects so many people around the world.
So why not come down to the gayest town in Africa and join in the fun!
