The Bomvu Cultural Music Festival has been running since 1999 and has been increasing in popularity with both local and international visitors ever since.
Description:
The natural backdrop plays an important part in the festival as it acts as a stunning amphitheater for local groups to play as well as displaying a variety of traditional performances such as the drums and Xhosa dance.
The Bomvu Cultural Music Festival is a favorite with visitors and provides free accommodation for exhibitors, and free entry and accommodation for all performers as a way to encourage local talent.
It has been estimated that over 500 visitors will make their way over the three days of the event from 7 to 9 July 2008.
