Dmitry Kouzov, Dmitry Lukin and Milana Strezeva make up one of the most exciting and promising chamber music groups to come out of America, known as the ‘Manhattan Piano Trio’. So if you’re a lover of classical music, then come soothe your soul to the sounds of the cello, piano and violin recital.
The Manhattan Piano Trio has certainly made a name for itself since it began in the summer of 2004. Since then they have won some prestigious awards such as the 2006 Plowman Chamber Music Competition and the 2007 Yellow Springs Music Competition.
Their brilliance does not stop there, as they have performed at over 250 venues in 28 states, and that’s just in the US! Individually each member is an award winning soloist, having performed in some of the most exquisite halls around the world. Together they make a marvellous musical team.
The Manhattan Piano Trio, made up of Milana Strezeva (piano), Dmitry Kouzov (cello) and Dmitry Lukin (violin), make their debut trip to South Africa and will be touring the main cities such as Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
