"From the opening celebration to the collaborative finale concert, the Ihlombe! festival is a force unlike any other with choirs and music from all over the world! The principle behind the Ihlombe! festival is to offer South African audiences an opportunity to hear the most diverse and exciting South African and International choral groups. All choirs will have the opportunity to participate in choral workshops with exhilarating cultural interactions from African rhythms and dancing to uniquely American! choral pieces. Each concert will feature different choirs with exciting programs and end with a South African piece learned at the workshops and conducted by leading South African conductors."
