The Sabie Experience is a four day mountain biking trail race. It is a team event and takes riders through some of South Africa’s most breathtaking landscapes.
Description:
Teams of two are able enter under the categories of Open Men (17 and older), Open Woman (17 and older), Mixed (one male, one female 17 and older), Sub Veteran (ages 30-39), Veteran (ages 40 – 49) and Masters (ages 50 and older). There will also be a youth event for entrants between the ages of 14 to 17.
The distances for the trail stages are 78 km, 65 km, 75 km and 31 km respectively. The winner of each stage in each category will receive prize money, with the overall winner of the four day event walking away with R5 000.
First Aid and Paramedic staff will be on site throughout the four days, with facilities such as physiotherapy, massages, showers and bike washing areas available. It is most definitely a race of endurance, strength and natural beauty.
