Description:

There certainly is nothing like a beautiful backdrop to make any event seem memorable. This is without doubt something that makes the Cape Argus Cycle Tour something unique, as cyclists make their way through 109km of natural beauty, starting in Cape Town’s city centre, down the Blue Route, all the way into Simonstown. Once there, cyclists make their way into Smitswinkel and head back along rough coastline until going up the renowned Chapman’s Peak, with the last leg up the steep, but short, hill of Suikerbosie. Nothing seems more promising then final view of Green Point as cyclists make their way to waiting friends and family.
