Adidas presents the renowned ABSA Cape Epic Mountain Bike Race which takes cyclists through the stunning Garden Route.
Description:
This gruelling mountain bike race will take you through the striking Garden Route and begins at the stunning town of Knysna and concludes at the impressive Lourensford Wine Estate nine days later. This really is an amazing race and attracts both the local and international participants who vary in experience from amateur to professional.
The route varies every year and is approximately 900 km, with heights of 16 000 meters being reached, it takes cyclists across some of the most exquisite passes to be had. There will be, for the first time, an introductory time trial in Knysna on the 28th March 2008.
The ABSA Cape Epic starts on 28 March and ends on 5 April 2008
