This fantastic cycling event takes place in the most exquisite time of year when all the canola fields expose their beautiful yellow flowers for all passers-by and cyclists to see.
Description:
The Overberg really is at its most pristine during this time of year and an amazing venue for the Canola Fees that will see cyclists riding away into the delicate fields of the Canola.
This is not all, with much to be seen and had at the Swellendam Showgrounds. Should you not be an avid cyclist you can surely enjoy the sights of the many exhibits on display as well as the local arts and craft markets.
Talking about local, you will be thoroughly entertained by some of South Africa’s talented musicians, and if you’re feeling still a little left out from not getting a chance to cycle then come join in the much loved bus tours through the canola fields!
So come bring the whole family, young or old there is certainly something for everyone!
The Canola Fees runs from 10 August to 12 August 2008.
