This wonderful take of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 ‘The 39 Steps’ includes some of the most memorable scenes from this hilarious thriller, such as the Flying-Scotsman and the escape on the Fourth Bridge. Directed by the talented Alan Swerdlow the character of Richard Hannay, a charming but snobbish bachelor, is brought to life as he goes on the run to Scotland having been accused of a murder he did not commit.
Along the way while trying to clear his name Richard comes across a variety of quirky characters, from the lingerie salesman to the sinister German professor to the icy blonde, all set to make this an outstanding production you really do not want to miss!
