Motown Forever is variety show based on the original 1956 ‘Tamala Motown Recording Company’ which came into existence due to the founding member Berry Gordy. It’s a story so well known around the world - one of hope and perseverance to make a better
This inspirational story tells of the life, hope and desires of Tyrone King, or better known as ‘Styles’. His life is one that many South Africans can relate to. It evokes many feelings, such as love, comedy and sadness, as he reflects on the pathway that led him to the man he is now. It is through this longing and desire that Motown begins to play its role in the life of ‘Styles’, the welder from ‘Bruin-Oue’.
Berry Gordy’s story is one of great inspiration, especially to the many legendary artists that we know today who took their first steps under his direction, such as Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Diana Ross and the Supremes and the Four Tops, to name a few!
