Cissie, having made its opening at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, will be taking place at the Baxter Theatre Centre in Rondebosch in Cape Town on the 10th of July 2008.
Description:
Cissie was created in memory of the well known Cape Town activist Cissie Gool, who was running throughout her life till her death in 1963. This heart provoking play involves an array of different genres from music, shadow, monologue and poetry, as times, places and characters are skilfully brought to life at the same time.
