...then why did Jesus say that when our enemies strike us on our cheek we should give him the other one as well.?I dont think there is any distinction between killing in war and killing in every day life.Just like a lie is a lie, there is no white lie or small lie.Killing is killing.Because we are humans we would never just stand by and watch our loved ones being hurt, thats why Jesus died for our sins, because we will never be perfect like him.Jesus prayed for his scorners, for those who belittled him, who spat at him...etc.If he wanted to he could have killed them as well, or destroyed them to whichever extent. However because we are man we could never be like him, we have to strive every day to become better people.
Even though your post was meant for those who are at war(which I doubt few us here are??), you should realise every post posted here will spark different views.Try to be man/woman enough to accept other peoples points of view as well, it builds character...!(the reason I wrote this was cos you sounded very defensive in ur last post)
