I disagree, faith comes from hearing the word of God. There have been Satan worshipers who have turned from their wicked ways, once they heard the gospel preached.
Paul was one of the biggest skeptics, when it came to Yeshua. In fact he had many Christians arrested, and was present at Stephen's execution. But his encounter with Christ changed his life forever. He is now recognized as the greatest evangelist of all time. He is the reason why many Europeans are Christians, because he was willing to go to areas and witness to people that most of Christ's disciples were unwilling to go and witness. Because the people in Asia Minor and Europe were well known pagans. But by the grace of God many were saved, because they were willing to listen to Paul.
In conclusion, one is saved by grace through faith. It has nothing to do with genetics etc.
