Nonkosi, I see you don't have an attitude like the 15 yr old Whoopi(certainly does not carry Whoopi Goldberg's charecteristics).
"Vuma dlozi lami" #9 on the CD. That's my favourite one too. In this song, Leleti Khumalo(Mbongeni's wife-the playwright of Sarafina) is thanking her ancestors for bringing a man like Mbongeni into her life."Vuma dlozi lami" would be directly translated as my ancestors are agreeing for me to marry this man. When it goes "Wangitholela umendo mina" she means through him she got to be married, "Wangikhipha enhluphekweni" means he took her out of the squalor and poverty in the township. I would love to sing that song to my husband when I get married one day.
