A South African professional who left his country of birth many years ago to settle iU.S.A.,the LAND OF MILK AND HONEY felt it difficult to get a job commensurate with his
academic accomplishments and experience. Being of a darker hue and speaking English with
a "British accent" he was discriminated. He worked as a janitor and busboy in order to eke a living. Finally, with great disappointment he decided to leave the United States.At the airport he was met by many friends and relatives. Among them was his very close friend who missed him very much. The friend hugged him and asked him ,"When are you returning to the LAND OF MILK AND HONEY"? He responded, " I am not returning to the LAND OF MILK AND HONEY again as I was kicked by the cows and stung by the bees several times while
seeking gold.
