My wife Pauline & I were nurses at The Florence in 1980 and then moved on to Milpark Hospital and then my wife was a senior sister at Sandton Hosp. & I was the Night Superintendent at Morningside Clinic until our return to UK in 1990 .
We lived in Olivedale Ext2 opposite the creche which had the old windmill built by the Italian POWs in the war.
Looking at how Hillbrow has developed we think we did the right thing.
