Please close SA

It is clear that the poor response from SA to this forum, is due to a very bad/poor/disappointing service from the local telecommunicating service (a monopoly)
It is not worth while and affordable to try any more!!!!

Apart from you and me, did you notice how few SA's are participating in this forum? I don't want to badmouth other countries' citizens, but wouldn't it be better to have more local SA's debating local issues?
My argument is that this site/forum might just as well be closed down, as it does not promote SA issues by means of debate. Poor telecommunication, according to me, restricts participating from more SA's.
I have just been unable to use the internet for three days due to a breakdown in physical telecommunication means. If and when you DO get connected, there are always network congestion, and you wait and wait but eventually give up. The company smiles all the way as we have to pay the huge telephone bills.
What do you say? Am i alone?

i need to talk to south africans in south africa, i wish they were hooked up on this site, so they can keep me current on what is going on, getting the news from cnn is not enough, i need a personal viewpoint. what do you think
