Why have 2 sections dedicated to gays and lesbians on SouthAfrica.com? Seems somewhat out of whack to me. If you're going to go that far for one segment of the population, you open a whole can of worms. What's next? A special forum for blacks only? One for Heterosexuals only? WHITE'S ONLY??
Why don't you get some feedback on what the members here on the board think about these new additions? If you ask me, they serve no purpose. I'm sure that Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transexuals have more suitable places to visit to talk. How are these forums applicable to South Africa in particular? |

Hi again Mark,
From time to time SouthAfrica.com will add forums to highlight events, issues, or communities in South Africa. This month we chose to add folders on human rights and the gay and lesbian community in South Africa. Since South Africa is one of the first countries in the world to ensure gay and lesbian rights in its constitution, many people around the world are watching to see what happens. The new forum is simply a way to welcome the glbt community wishing to discuss these issues. If they are not used due to lack of interest they'll be changed to other topics. All the best, SouthAfrica.com |
