Thank you for all your concerns regarding the administration of this website.

I just thought I'd clear a few things up with everyone regarding the role of admin and the moderators for all VCI sites under our care.

Admin: Admin operates very much behind-the-scenes of the forums. It is our job to ensure that the forums are functioning. We appoint moderators, assisting them to keep the sites clear of spam by checking the site daily for such posts. When new users register they have to be accepted by Admin first before they can post, thus we keep spammers, trolls, banned users etc. out. It is also our duty to assist moderators in disciplining members by means of quaranteening and banning. As you can see, we do much too keep the forums operational and a pleasant place for users to engage in clean debate and conversation.

Moderators: Moderators appointed by admin have the responsibility to ensure that all posts made are free from hate-speech, prejudices, foul language and other such conduct. It is their role to enforce forum rules. Moderators also have the responsiblity of introducing new topics to the board, encouraging discussion and so forth. Moderators are the extension of admin that are more frequently seen by users and have a more active role on the actual public forum itself.

I apologise if any feel that admin is not active on the site, however it is important to note that we are very busy managing almost 20 sites and many moderators in the background. I hope this clears everything up. Please feel free to contact admin with suggestions etc on the feedback and suggestions section of the forum.

Maybe you can get some more moderators to interact with the users, as the above users said we feel like we are talking to ourselves.

Maybe also activate your reputation setttings and explain to the users how to give reputation if they thought the post was usefull. This would motivate them to come back

Hi and thank you for replying to us....... all of the forums that I belong to have moderators that actually interact with the members. I have never seen any on this site nor do I see anyone actually replying to many of the posts? Maybe the 'Admin' or 'moderators' can get involved just a little to help bring this site back up to what it should be. Come up with something that will attract people to this site. I do come online often but there is never anyone to answer my threads

Hope we can all come up with a good solution to this
