gay bi monolugues from south africa

i am a writer / spoken word performer from chicago, il in the usa

i'm am tryin to create a monolgue series of men and women who identify as gay or bi in south africa

i would like to explore the issues of coming out / moving away in order to be / social views / political concerns of gay/bi epople of south africa / first love / first time and "passing" for straight or being flamboyant

i'm looking to begin work on this project in june of 2004 / looking for some funding but that will not stop me from writng .. looking to conduct interviews with at least 50 different people ... still searching for a grant that will allow me to travel to south africa or some other country to meet and greet subjects ...

need to know the clubs / cutlture / book stores / meeting grounds / everything
