Hi, everyone! My name is Yukiko Shishikura. I am originaly from Japan, but I go to college in the US. This summer I went to a workcamp near King William's town. it was such a wounderful experience.
This semester, I am taking Traditional African Cosmology class. it is very interesting class. For my final paper, I am reseraching about the Xhosa Cattle-Killing Movement. My paper focuses on the reasons why the Xhosa believed in Nongqawse's prediction.
here are my questions to you guys!!!
1, Does anybody know if the Xhosa's belief change after this movement?? Because they killed so many cattle that many of them starved to death or died.
2, If any of you is the Xhosa, what is your view toward this movement???
