My name is Brandon McKinney, and I am from America. In the past month I have steadily grown more and more interested in South Africa. The more I learn about it's people and it's culture the more I feel that South Africa is where I belong. It also helps that my girlfriend is from South Africa and so I get a fresh perspective on the subject. Also, I must admit, that this discussion board has fueled my desire to goto SA even more so than before. Of all the South Africans I have met or spoken with, it seems reasonable to assume that the people there are simply more kind, understanding, and even more emotionally intelligent than the average 'Joe' that lives here in America.

So I just wish to give thanks to all who have inspired me (yes, that includes you too God!). The future is a vast and ever expanding equation. Who knows where we will end up. But one day, if you are in South Africa, you may very well see me walking down the street with a big smile on my face.
