Obviously it was a horrible tragedy, due to the needless loss of innocent lives.
But one must also examine whether the CIA had anything to do with it or not, given the fact that they had prior knowledge of the attack.
I find it very ironic that President Bush who was barely elected, somehow has emerged very powerful, even though he lost the popular vote in 2000. His critics are now afraid to challenge his authority, because they would be perceived as being Anti-American. It is as if this whole thing was scripted, to drum up support for the President.
The U.S. Economy is now in shambles, but President Bush is more popular than ever. 9-11 was a very good diversion for his critics, because now he no longer has to worry about the economy, which he has been unable to fix. He can now focus on the things which he his good at, such as spewing rhetoric of regenge, which seems to have captivated the American Public.
