Well I just signed on and I'm excited to get to know some of you. my name is Ken and I'm from Utah in the United States. I love sports and I hear that Durban has some sick surfing! so write back and talk to you all later!

Hi Ken
Durban does certainly have good surfing conditions... must be the interaction between the Agulhas Current and the west-moving cyclones. But Cape Town's still the best cos we have snoek and gatsbys.

Durban
My favourite place was Umhlanga Rocks near Durban. Miss being able to just jump in the car and spend a weekend there. We are in Sacramento and visit Monterey - beautiful but not the same.
