Thanks Liza. It was one of the "wurst" hangovers ever – but so worth it. Those Germans make some fine beer. Luckily I'm okay now. The water thing really helps – tried and tested.

I tried that "hair-of-dog" remedy once but licking my dog only resulted in me choking on a hairball Kidding!

Maybe we should start a new thread called "Babbelas Busters" and get some weird hangover remedies.

This morning I woke up having two fiancees (one Friesian male, one female, I am straight and have said I would not date a Friesian man) and found four guns, a bottle of wine and a sherrif badge in my purse.
I'm willing to try any remotely reasonable remedy.


By the way the guns are all plastic, lest you thin worse of me than is necessary. We have even made a plan for all three of us to be legally married.

At one time or another, Richard Branson's Virgin brand was giving away free Hangover Kits. I don't recall all that was in the kit, but all I have left of it is an entire book devoted to hangover cures! I can try to dig it up.

My limited experience with hangovers (graduation day was my first, and it lasted til I went to bed!) has taught me that Energade (Powerade, Gatorade, Game, etc.) is the best thing. A greasy breakfast helps too, if you're not so far gone that it makes you throw up. My cousin has destroyed two cellphones due to a morning-after greasy spoon breakfast. (For those who don't know - the phones fell in the toilet.)
