I just checked that on the 20th September 2006 there were 497 visitors online??????????? Howcome they all dissapeared in a few days???? I have come online about 20 times today and when checking the site have been the only one online????????

Must admit I did not see the 'stats' for the 20 Sept............the figure seems ridiculous do hope that Admin are making note of your enthusiasm in getting this site going again....

I find it so hard to believe that every day people join , and never post, and afterall with no posts, there is nothing for them to read or debate about

i have 15 ooo posts on AS...i can talk/spam/promote like crazy, the only problem is is that the admins dont seem to care about the site any more. perhaps thay need to hand over to someone else, seems a shame that visitors see this forum like this, creates a bad image about South Africa.

What I think is that people are getting more and more ignorant as time is passing by. The easiest way to move along straight in life, without any sense of vividness is to be careless and ignorant! Whatever the admins or other quiet people up to.....lets try and make this mode of communication active! Lets start with my quest...

But first, let me introduce myself: My name is aaqib moin and I am a space professional. I am Pakistani by origin. Got my MS degree in Radio Astronomy & Space Science from Sweden. Had a chance to stay and work in The Netherlands for about a year....

More recently, I got admitted to the University of Stellenbosch for PhD in the Electronic Engineering department on a theme relevant to Satellite Systems.

So, I am in a quest for knowing more and more about South Africa......

Anyone care to help??

Stellenbosch is a great town for student life, they have a great 'space program' running, i believe they have built two sattelites that have been launched by NASA.
