World's First Black Diamond Manufacturer

Andre Jackson, a former rough diamond dealer began his career mining and supplying diamonds. In 1987, this enigmatic, charming and driven advisor to the late Zaïrean President Mobutu Sese Seko, opened his first diamond-cutting factory in Mbuji-Mayi, Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaïre). Nine months later, he opened another factory and selling office in Kinshasa, which now operates as a full-service diamond company. His operations have expanded throughout every diamond producing country in Africa. Jackson has successfully set up selling offices, and cutting factories in Antwerp, Dubai, Tokyo, New York and Houston. Much of his wealth has come from many of his rare jewelry creations, and are auctioned several times a year in Geneva.
