They migrated from the Congo area around 2000 years ago, and old habits die hard.Consider why there are so few bushmen today in an area that they inhabited for over 20000 years. The Bantu have been in Southern Africa for less than 2000 years, and how many are there?Do the Math: no TV, no birth-control...why so few bushmen.

thats ignorant. 2000 is a long time. the Bushmen were killed off after the whites got there. the Batu didnt have that much contact with them. there would be Bantu in the area that the Bushmen ere in.

The Bantu stayed out of the Western Cape because of the climate and it would require too much hard work to survive there.That is why the Bantu inhabit all of the fertile land and the Bushmen stayed in the desert.Consider why nomads would stay in the most inhospitable areas and the Xhosa reactions to colonists on the Kei, over 2000 years the Bushmen could have been wiped out, hell Hitler liquidated what 70% of the Jews in Europe over 5 years, so does it seem impossible that the Bantu could have killed the Bushmen over 2000 years in response to cattle theft or beliefs that they are Tokoloshes...

again, do not be ignorant. the Congo is not South Africa. quite differant. pygmies are not Bushmen either. people change over time. the Afrikaner are not the same as the Dutch in the Netherlands, similar but not the same. same with the Bantu and those in the Congo. they are of similar orignin but different ethnicity. do you even know what tribe the ones who ate these pygmies were?
