Izithakazelo

I found this site by complete mistake. I was searching on google.com for izithakazelo zakwaMtshali and it too me here.

I like the idea you have proposed. Ezakithi: Hlabangane, Magalela gase njengengonyama, Mantshinga.

I end there o if anyone has more knowledge on izithakazelo zakwaMtshali, I would appreciate you letting me know.

I also like the idea very much and encourage/invite others to post their clan names as well. My surname is Chamane. Ezinye zezithakazelo zami zithi: "Nzama, Gcugcwa, Hosiyane, Makhaliph ajike esangweni"

Welcome to the board Majozi. Where in SA are you from? My mom grew up in Empangeni, she speak Zulu pretty well. I grew up close to Jozi however, so I do not.

Izithakazelo - a list

This is an amazing topic. I wish that I was involved a long time ago!

We have a long list of Izithakazelo - clan names - for anyone interested. We would alos be delighted if you had some more to add.

The list is comprehensive in terms of the amounts of names - however only the popular or common ancestral names are listed.

please e-mail me with "Izithakazelo list" please to my personal e-mail address brian@africa-dreams.com or visit our website on http://www.africa-dreams.com for more articles on SA diversity issues.
