A Corrupt South Africa(I hate SA)

I am a South African married to a foreigner who is a really good, honest and a loving person. The treatment we receive from the corrput law in South Africa is really disgusting. The police dept, the immigrations, the Home Affairs are all corrupt...DEPT OF HORROR. They live on bribe, without bribery they would do nothing.
My spouse left for a short visit to Overseas and on returned the immigration discovered that his spouse permit which was done at Randfontein Home Affairs via an agent was fake. We only learnt about this on arrival back to SA. I tried to explain the problem and where it was done but they just wont listen. We were married in South Africa in the court of Johannesburg and i am registered under my spouse name, i took all documents to prove this including our wedding pictures but they just wont budge. My kid and i were traumatised at the Oliver Tambo Airport. We were spoken to with such disrespect and was escorted out of the office by a security guard.. I have been to the Home Affairs, to the police, to the immigrations and no one would even hear you out. He was deported back to the country of Origin yet he was in SA for 6 years. He had to leave his wife and kid here. They had no mercy. He was then taken to his country and further charged 30 000 rands and is still being kept in a jail cell as i write today. I have done a letter of appeal to the Head Office in PTA and they havnt even opened there email as yet. I spoke to numerous people at the home affairs to help but everywhere theres a dead end. This country is full of crime, murder robbery, rape, children being molested, kidnapping and the criminals are walking the street yet a little mistake and our lives are torn apart. We were treated like criminals.

People are pushed to take the wrong direction due to the corruption in this country. I hate South Africa. I hate the Law. They need skilled people in this department to see what is really a crime and whats not.

Hi I am not able to offer any assistance to you about work in the label industry in SA, however I am contemplating a move back to SA after 16 years in the US. I have been told by most people that I must be out of my mind to want to take my wife and 3 children back to a third world county when I live in the best country in the world. I am hoping to move back in July of 2004 myself, I go in January to scope and plan a bit. Perhaps we can stay in touch and help answer some questions. I have lived here and enjoyed it, however I miss the simple life of home. I hope your plans of going back will turn out well.
