Nonkosi, I see you don't have an attitude like the 15 yr old Whoopi(certainly does not carry Whoopi Goldberg's charecteristics).
"Vuma dlozi lami" #9 on the CD. That's my favourite one too. In this song, Leleti Khumalo(Mbongeni's wife-the playwright of Sarafina) is thanking her ancestors for bringing a man like Mbongeni into her life."Vuma dlozi lami" would be directly translated as my ancestors are agreeing for me to marry this man. When it goes "Wangitholela umendo mina" she means through him she got to be married, "Wangikhipha enhluphekweni" means he took her out of the squalor and poverty in the township. I would love to sing that song to my husband when I get married one day. |

Why are you saying that? ![]() I wasn't angry, I mean, I didn't reply you bad. I also put the smile at the end to make sure that you understand that my list was just en explain. Frequently the lists seem to be...ehm...I don't know...bad?! I mean, when you write a list you seem to be nervous but I'm not I'm sorry if you misunderstood me ![]() However, you said a nice thing of Whoopi Goldberg, so I'm happy ![]() |

Whoopi.....sorry man, my bad! Yeap Leleti Khumalo is indeed Mbongeni Ngema's wife. She was very young(13 or 14 yrs old) in the movie Sarafina and that's when he met her. Leleti herself is a very talented young woman from Durban.
