I'm still wondering what language to take out of Swahili, Xhosa, or Zulu and also still looking for Sarafina lyrics in Zulu like in the movie. Reply to this thread or the other 2 I started some time ago.

i think it depends on where you want to go and where you are now, AfAw. you should choose the langauge with which you can practice most at home and which is actually spoken in the country you decide to visit

OK....Thanks for the advice Nonkosi. None of the lanugages are spoken here where I live in the US unless there are some natives of Southern Africa living here. Which language would you choose?

I think I'd like to take Zulu too...Whoopi, any luck with Sarafina lyrics? Nonkosi, how hard would eat be for an American citizen to learn Zulu?
