Hehehehe...
I'm Italian (and I'm not very proud to say this, so if you think that I'm Zulu, it's better )
I mean, I'm Italian and Slovienian. I'm not from Slovenia, but I'm part of the minority of people who live in Italy and speak Slovien and go in Slovenian/Italian school.
I would like to speak Zulu (AND I WILL!! I don't know when, but when I'll finish school I'll make a trip in South Africa and learn Zulu ).
I found the lyrics on this forum
However, PLEASE(!!), could you tell us the lyrics of the other songs? Sarafina! is my favourite movie [and you can understand that Whoopi Goldberg is my life from my nick ] and I would really like to know (and to sing) these wonderful songs!! Thank you

Sechaba- unfortunately that is a Sesotho song. I'm unable to help you with that one. I'm sure there are a number of Sotho speaking individuals who could help on this forum.

Thanks for your compliments. I am very interested in it all. There is just something about Africa that gives me this feeling inside and I want to learn as much as I can about my ancestors as well as myself. That would be great if the both of you could help me with my Zulu. Whoopi and I have been trying to get the lyrics to the songs so hopefully we can get them since we have more help..lol...Thanks to you all! I want to know the lyrics to ALL of the songs they sing in the movie. I watch the movie almost every 2 days..

WHEN THEY WERE TAKING THE CHILDREN TO THE PRISON. THE ENGLISH WORDS WERE: The nation is crying. The cattle are gone. The old men are prisoners. The young men have fled. Only women and babies in Soweto. Weep for the pain of Africa.

Is it the translation of Sechaba??

THE NEXT SONG WAS WHEN THEY WERE IN THE PRISON CELLS AND THEY WERE SINGING. THE ENGLISH WORDS WERE: The Black Nation is dying. Who will lead us to the day of peace. The Black Nation is crying. Oh, Mama, I am crying for the day of peace.

Is it Isizwe??

Somebody knows the lyrics of the song Nkonyane Kandaba?

Reply me, please...
