Hey, Whoopi. It's been a long time. It is isizwe. I bought the soundtrack to the movie and the songs are great and I bought a movie called the Voices of Sarafina! It's a documentary of the play Sarafina! It's good and very emotional especially when the children from the play meet Miriam Makeba who was currently in exile.

Hi!!
So you say that this: <The Black Nation is dying. Who will lead us to the day of peace. The Black Nation is crying. Oh, Mama, I am crying for the day of peace> is Isizwe? Are you sure? 'Cause I have to write it my school-diary. Thanks
Did you buy the video online? It seems to be nice!! Miriam Makeba is a very good singer (I really admire her) and I like her a lot! She is a strong woman!

The name of the song is Safa Saphel' Isizwe. I recommend you buy the movie if you don't already have it and also the soundtrack to the movie and the documentary I was referring to which is called Voices of Sarfina! I have all 3 and I am going to get the soundtrack to the broadway play before it was a movie. They sing some of the same songs only they are different. They sing the Lord's Prayer differently. They show clips of the play in the documentary and it's very emotional. Especially when they meet Miriam Makeba. They are all crying, even Miriama Makeba. I agree, she is a great singer and very stong. Can I have you e-mail address so we can better communicate because it sometimes takes me a while to get to this website? Mine is BeyonceLover86@aol.com but I will also take your e-mail address.

Hehehe, I like Beyonce too She is a good singer and she seems to be a pleasant person.
However, in Italy the soundtrack wasn't released and nor the documentary (Have you seen Whoopi in it?). I have the movie (in Italian).
My e-mail address is whoopi@freemail.it

Where are you from? HI, I'm Frederick. I'm not Whoopi but I would try a lyrics search. It was very hard for me to find some of the lyrics too and I still can't find them. Luckily, my copy of Sarafina! which is the US version has subtitles for some songs but Sechaba isn't one of them. Good luck with your search!

Well, Manpo...I'm sorry to tell you that also if my nick is Whoopi I'm not the actress Whoopi Goldberg. (She would never log herself in with that nick ) I don't know if the other thought so and if they were, I'm sorry for illuding them
I have the Italian version of the movie so I don't even have the English subtitles of the songs (neither the Italian). I don't have any idea of the lyrics and I'm sorry for that. I'd really like to know the words of all the songs, expecially of Sechaba. I use to sing the song in my own way, you know, just "sialila sechaba, uchobo li phelile..." but I don't think that this does make any sense
Please...is there a Zulu speaking person that could listen to the song "Sechaba" and help us? please... :-*
